Women's Crisis House (Bristol)

The Women's Crisis House (also known as Link House) provides a safe place for women in mental health crisis to stay. Women can stay at the house for up to four weeks. People staying at the house benefit from:

  • 24 hour support
  • Someone to talk to
  • An individual support plan for their future
  • Daily activities and group work
  • Advice on benefits, employment, housing, relationships, cooking and looking after yourself and building resilience.

We can help women in Bristol experiencing a mental health crisis who need time away from home and would otherwise have to go into hospital. We can also help women to leave psychiatric hospital earlier in their recovery journey. Women can self-refer or be referred by a health professional, such as a GP, nurse or care co-ordinator.
