Safe Haven (Buckinghamshire)

Bucks Safe Haven offers a safe and supportive environment, for anyone living in Buckinghamshire ages 18 years or over as an alternative to A&E, for people experiencing mental health crisis.

Working in partnership with Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, Bucks Mind works collaboratively with you to empower you and provide emotional listening support as well as helping you to manage your mental health better. We help you to understand where to go for help in the local community, but most importantly to feel safer and create safety plans if you are struggling to keep yourself safe due to thoughts of self-harm or of ending your life.

In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic we at Buckinghamshire Mind are closely following the Government’s guidelines on health and safety measures regarding social distancing. We are now providing face-to-face group support on both our Covid-secure sites in Aylesbury and Wycombe, seven evenings a week. The two group sessions are: 6.30pm – 9pm and 9.30pm – Midnight.

Please call at 6pm to book a place (please see below for contact details). To ensure safe social distancing, capacity may be limited, but we will always do our best to accommodate you. We ask that you wear a mask, unless you are exempt. We are also continuing to deliver our Safe Haven service by offering 30-minute telephone call and video link slots.
