PeerTalk (Bordon)

PeerTalk Peer Support Groups are open to anyone (over 18) who lives with depression. The groups are facilitated by two trained volunteers, but they do not give advice or tell you what to do - they facilitate the space to enable those who come along to share what's going on for them, and to receive support from others who have a lived experience of depression. They're friendly groups, a safe place to talk in confidence, be yourself, accepted and supported in a non-judgemental place. There's no need to book or to be referred - you just come along. We offer tea / coffee after the meeting and most people stay behind to chat.

We meet every Tuesday evening 7pm-8:30pm at Whitehill Village Hall, 6 Sutton Field, Whitehill, Bordon, GU35 9BW. If you'd like to know a little more about the groups before coming along, call 07719 562 617 and we'll be happy to chat. It's very rare that a meeting is cancelled, but it might happen if there's particularly bad weather, or if one of our facilitators is unable to come along and we can't replace them at short notice. If you would like to check if the meeting is on, you can always call or text us.
