Suffolk Young People's Health Project

Suffolk Young People's Health Project (also known as 4YP) is a local charity, which provides and co-ordinates services that improve the social, emotional, and physical health and wellbeing of young people in Suffolk, aged 12-25.

Taking into consideration the Government guidance regarding the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Suffolk Young People’s Health Project has decided to provide online services only, meaning access to the 4YP building in Lower Brook Street is inaccessible until further notice. This has been a hard decision to make however we would like to keep all staff, young people and the community safe and at home as much as possible. Nevertheless don’t threat we are still here!

Therefore, until further notice, all counselling will be provided by Skype, Zoom, or telephone. You will be contacted in due course. We will still be providing a ‘drop-in’ service however this will also be carried out online through Google Hangouts. To access this please use the google hangouts app or log on via google online and contact us through suffolk4yp@gmail.com. This is free to access for young people between 10am and 5pm.

If you need emergency support/advice we have a mobile set up for you to call to gain guidance from an experienced youth worker. This number is 07506861487. Please only call this in emergencies.

The team are working hard to provide as many services to young people across Suffolk. If you have any urgent queries you can still call 01473 252607 however if possible please email us on enquiries@syphp.org.uk .
