PeerTalk (Batley)

PeerTalk Peer Support Groups are open to anyone (over 18) who lives with depression. The groups are facilitated by two trained volunteers, but they do not give advice or tell you what to do - they facilitate the space to enable those who come along to share what's going on for them, and to receive support from others who have a lived experience of depression.

They're friendly groups, a safe place to talk in confidence, be yourself, accepted and supported in a non-judgemental place. There's no need to book or to be referred - you just come along. We offer tea / coffee after the meeting and most people stay behind to chat.

We meet every Wednesday 11am - 12.30pm at Jo Cox House, 90 Commercial Street, Batley, WF17 5DS.

If you would like to check if the meeting is on, you can always call or text us.
